We asked the new Tampa Bay Suns FC player for some tips, movement advice, and what makes her move.
Here's what she had to say...
Q: What makes you get up and move, what do you get out of movement?
A: "Knowing how good movement is for my mind, my body, and my soul, it always puts me in a good mood, it keeps my body fit and strong, and it's very calming for my mind."
Q: Besides soccer, what's your favorite way to move?
A: "I love all types of movement. It kind of just depends on my mood. But I love doing yoga, I love walking barefoot, I love running, I like weightlifting, rollerblading, and I really like breathwork."
Q: What has playing soccer taught you?
A: "Soccer has taught me a lot of lessons but I would say the biggest thing is there's a lot that happens in life that you can't control, but you can always control two things, and that's your work ethic, and your attitude."
Q: How did you build up your stamina as a pro athlete?
A: "A lot of positive self talk, you have to be your own biggest fan, manifestation, and repetition."
Q: What's a tip for encouraging others to get into fitness or sport?
A: "Be consistent with it, make if part of you routine, and have fun with it. Find movement that works for your body and that you enjoy doing."
